The stress level has been rising, and hence, I have been falling. So, yesterday I decided to take a piece of my own advice, and remember to dance in the kitchen. It's amazing how groovin' to KC and the Sunshine Band in my kitchen lifted my spirits and put a smile on my face. Once I was done dancing, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, and Tony Bennett kept me sailing on the sea of contentment. Music... Such a wonderful gift.
Got stress?
Dance, my friend, dance.

Hi Lisa!
I'm Donna, a mom from PA. I stumbled upon your blog from the Alaska Mom via the Selvedge Blog ('cause I like to quilt.) Love your blog and especially your attitude! You've lifted my spirits already this dark dreary morning. Who can't smile when you're listening to Son of a Preacher Man with your morning cuppa?
I'll definitely stop back and visit. My own baby blog has its panties in a wad, but I'm working on sorting that out.
Keep dancing and Merry Christmas! What's the dare chair all about, btw?

Donna... Your comments made me so happy! The Dare Chair... I encourage you to sit down and have a cup of dare. Do something you have always wanted to do, or something you never thought you would do. If you go to the archives, there are different dare posts. There is also an explanation of the chair at the bottom of my blog. Since I started teaching full time, I don't update my blog as much as I used to. Please stop by again, though! There are plenty of old posts to keep you entertained for a while. :) Lisa
