So, it was a balmy 8 degrees above zero yesterday, and my teenage daughter had to run some errands. She left with a t-shirt and sweatshirt. No jacket, mittens, or hat, and oddly enough, it looked pretty normal to me. After all, it was above zero. Heat wave! It never ceases to amaze me how a body adjusts to its' surroundings.
Are you finding yourself gasping at the thought of going out in a sweatshirt in 8 degree weather? Well, after surviving -29 degrees, anything above zero feels warm!

Yeah... I figure, once you hit the
-10 to -20 below digits, what's another 10 to 20 degrees below zero? Can one REALLY tell at that point? Once the snot is frozen, deep breaths make one cough instantly, and icicles hang from eyelashes, what more could there be? ;)
